The Congressional oversight panel has made public a set of approximately 70 photos from the estate of former found guilty individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third such release from a cache of in excess of 95,000 images the body has obtained from Epstein's property. It includes photographs of passages from the book Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and obscured images of female foreign passports.

This action occurs hours before the December 19th cut-off for the DOJ to disclose each documents associated with its probe into Epstein.

"These new images raise more inquiries about what exactly the Department of Justice has in its custody," said the senior Democrat of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photos Released

A number of the images made public on this week feature Epstein speaking with professor and activist Noam Chomsky aboard a private jet; Bill Gates seen beside a individual whose features is obscured; Steve Bannon positioned at a workstation across from Epstein, and previous Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the most recent affluent, powerful figures to be photographed in Epstein's estate images released by the oversight panel - previously disclosed images also include US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, former US treasury secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Showing up in the photographs is not indication of any misconduct, and several of the pictured figures have asserted they were never participating in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a announcement released with the image publication, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein estate did not provide context or timeframes for the pictures.

"Images were chosen to offer the American people with clarity into a illustrative selection of the images obtained from the holdings, and to provide insights into Epstein's associates and his extremely troubling activities," the announcement says.

The release also contains a number of photos of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita penned in ink across several locations of a woman's body, including her chest, foot, hipbone, and rear. Lolita narrates the tale of a adolescent who was exploited by a older literature professor.

One quote from the novel scrawled across a woman's torso states, "Lo-lee-ta: the point of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the roof of the mouth to tap, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a number of images of women's travel documents and official papers from nations around the world, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the information on the IDs, like identities and dates of birth, is obscured but the House Oversight Committee said in a statement that the travel documents are associated with "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were interacting with".

Another photo shows Epstein seated at a desk in close proximity surrounded by three female figures whose identities have been redacted - one individual has her hand on Epstein's torso under his garment, and another individual is crouching to view a adjacent device. Epstein seems to be aiding the third individual fasten a piece of jewelry.

A further photo released is a capture of text messages from an unknown individual who states they have been sent "several females" and are demanding "$one thousand dollars per girl".

Photograph Publication Arrives Before DOJ Deadline

The body has a vast number of photographs in its possession from the Epstein holdings, which are "at once graphic and ordinary," its announcement on this week clarified.

The Congressional committee first subpoenaed the property of Epstein, who died in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on accusations of sex trafficking, in August.

The images and files the Epstein property submitted to the panel are separate from what is commonly referred to "Epstein-related records". Those are papers in the DOJ's control related to its own inquiry into Epstein.

Pursuant to the Transparency Act, which President Trump made law last month, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to disclose its records. The scope of the contents included in the DOJ's files is unknown, and it's expected that much of the content will be heavily redacted, comparable to the committee's releases
